Daniel Clack

British Lieutenant Daniel Clack, age 24, died on August 12, 2011, in Helmand Province, Afghanistan, of injuries sustained by the explosion of a roadside bomb.

Daniel was with the 1st Battalion The Rifles.

He was born in north London and studied at Exeter University. He joined the army in 2009. He deployed to Afghanistan in April of 2011. 

Family members said that he loved the military and died doing the only profession he ever considered.

Daniel was engaged to be married. 

He is survived by his mother, father, brother, fiancee and numerous friends. 

Let us pray to God the Father, Jesus, all of the saints and all of the angels that Daniel Clack is in heaven. Let us pray that he is at peace and is with God. Amen.
