Camille Levrel

French Lieutenant Camille Levrel, age 36, died on August 14, 2011, in Kapisa Valley, Afghanistan. He was leading a search operation when he was shot by a sniper. 

He was with the 152nd Infantry Regiment. Camille was born in Rennes (Ille-et-Vilaine) and joined the military in 1996.

He served on numerous operations including service in New Caledonia, Kosovo, Chad and several missions in Afghanistan. 

Military officials describe him as serious and very professional.  

He is the married father of three children. 

Let us pray to God the Father, Jesus, all of the saints and all of the angels that Camille Levrel is in heaven. Let us pray that he is at peace and is with God. Amen.
