Marine Christopher M. Wrinkle, age 27, died on July 31, 2011, in a fire in his barracks in Afghanistan.
Chris Wrinkle was a 2001 graduate of Dallastown High School, where he was on the wrestling team. He was also an active member of Christ Lutheran Church in Dallastown.

Friends describe him a happy guy, who really wanted to be in the Marines. They stated that Chris has served in the military for about 10 years and that he had already earned two Purple Hearts.
High School officials describe him as mature for his age. Church officials stated that he had a strong faith in God.
Chris was engaged to be married.
Let us pray to God the Father, Jesus, all of the saints and all of the angels that Christopher M. Wrinkle is in heaven. Let us pray that he is at peace and is with God. Amen.
