Spc. Preston J. Suter, age 22, of Sandy, Utah, died on July 5, 2011, in Paktia Province, Afghanistan, of injuries suffered when enemy forces attacked his unit with an improvised explosive device.
He was assigned to the 709th Military Police Battalion, 18th Military Police Brigade, 21st Theater Sustainment Command, Hohenfels, Germany.

Preston attended the class of 2007 at Alta High School in Sandy, Utah.
Let us pray to God the Father, Jesus, all of the saints and all of the angels that Preston J. Suter is in heaven. Let us pray that he is at peace and is with God. Amen.
