Aaron D. Ullom

Seaman Aaron D. Ullom, age 20, of Midland, Michigan, died on July 12, 2011, while conducting a dismounted patrol in the Now Zad district, Helmand province, Afghanistan.

He was assigned as a hospitalman to 3rd Battalion, 2nd Marine Regiment, Regimental Combat Team 8, 2nd Marine Division, II Marine Expeditionary Force at Camp Lejeune, N.C.

Father, take Aaron to Heaven

He graduated from Midland High School in 2009.

Friends describe him as being brave and helpful. Others described him as "hard-driven".  Former co-workers describe him as pleasant, well-mannered and responsible. 

God help us, this boy, Aaron was only 20 years old. 

Let us pray to God the Father, Jesus, all of the saints and all of the angels that Aaron D. Ullom is in heaven. Let us pray that he is at peace and is with God. Amen.
