Michael C. Olivieri

Pfc. Michael C. Olivieri, age 26, of Chicago, died on June 6, 2011, in Baghdad, Iraq, of wounds suffered when enemy forces attacked his unit with indirect fire.

He was assigned to the1st Battalion, 7th Field Artillery Regiment, 2nd Heavy Brigade Combat Team, 1st Infantry Division, Fort Riley, Kansas.

Michael was a field artillery tactical data systems operator. He joined the army in January 2010.

Let us pray to God the Father, Jesus, all of the saints and all of the angels that Michael C. Olivieri is in heaven. Let us pray that he is at peace and is with God. Amen.
