Mark A. Bradley

Sgt. Mark A. Bradley, age 25, of Cuba, New York, died on June 16, 2011, while conducting combat operations in Helmand province, Afghanistan. 

He was assigned to 3rd Battalion, 2nd Marine Regiment, 2nd Marine Division, II Marine Expeditionary Force, Camp Lejeune, N.C.

Mark was a 2003 graduate of Cuba-Rushford High School.  He joined the Marine Corps eight years ago after he finished high school in Cuba, N.Y.

Mark Bradley was on his fifth round of overseas duty, but was on his first tour to Afghanistan.

Sgt. Bradley's wife, Samantha, and his mother both live in Clayton, N.C. 

Family members described him as strong and an achiever.   Mark's younger brother, Steven, age 23, is also a Marine and is serving in a different part of Afghanistan.

Let us pray to God the Father, Jesus, all of the saints and all of the angels that Mark A. Bradley is in heaven. Let us pray that he is at peace and is with God. Amen.
