Keith T. Buzinski

Spc. Keith T. Buzinski, age 26, of Daytona Beach, Florida., died on April 7, 2011, in Logar province, Afghanistan of wounds suffered when enemy forces attacked his unit with small arms fire.

He was assigned to the 2nd Battalion, 30th Infantry Regiment, 4th Brigade Combat Team, 10th Mountain Division, Fort Drum, N.Y. 

Sergeant Buzinski joined the U.S. Army in August 2006. Once he completed training at Fort Benning, Georgia, he was stationed at Fort Campbell in December 2006, then Fort Polk in September 2009.  He deployed with his unit in October 2010, after previously being deployed to Iraq from September 2007 to November 2008.

Sergeant Buzinski's awards and decorations include the Bronze Star, Purple Heart, Army Commendation Medal, Army Achievement Medal, Valorous Unit Award, Army Good Conduct Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Afghanistan Campaign Medal, Iraq Campaign Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Army Service Ribbon, two Overseas Service Ribbons, NATO Medal and Combat Infantryman Badge. 

Sergeant Buzinski is survived by his wife, two children, sister, mother and father.

Let us pray to God the Father, Jesus, all of the saints and all of the angels that Keith T. Buzinski is in heaven. Let us pray that he is at peace and is with God. Amen
