Shannon Chihuahua

Spc. Shannon Chihuahua, age 25, of Thomasville, Ga., died Nov. 12, 2010, in Kunar province, Afghanistan, of wounds suffered when insurgents attacked his unit using small arms fire and rocket propelled grenades. 

He was assigned to the 1st Battalion, 327th Infantry Regiment, 1st Brigade Combat Team, 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault), Fort Campbell, Ky.

Shannon was a medic and was tending to injured fellow soldiers when he was killed.

He is survived by his wife and his two very young daugthers.

Let us pray to God the Father, Jesus, all of the saints and all of the angels that Shannon Chihuahua is in heaven. Let us pray that he is at peace and is with God. Amen
