Sgt. Aaron Cruttenden, age 25, was killed on November 7, 2010, when his unit was attacked by insurgents in Afghanistan.
Sgt. Cruttenden lived in Mesa, Arizona. He served in the 27th Engineer Battalion of the XVIII Airborne Corps.
The Army Sergeant's family says this was supposed to be his last push through enemy territory. His job was to find IEDs and destroy them ahead of the troops.
Aaron Cruttenden's large extended family in Arizona and Colorado take pride in the fact he was serving his country, a job he signed up for two years ago so he could provide for his 3-year-old daughter.
Let us pray to God the Father, Jesus, all of the saints and all of the angels that Aaron Cruttenden is in heaven. Let us pray that he is at peace and is with God. Amen
