Ray, his wife and son, Andrew, age 8, went out for dinner on the evening of New Year's Day.

They were customers at a Vietnamese restaurant in southwest Houston.  At about 9:00 p.m. two masked and armed men entered the restaurant which had about 30 customers inside. The men robbed the cash register and tried to rob the customers.

Ray resisted and was shot and killed in front of his wife and son.

The murderers fled the scene and are still on the loose. They are believed to have left in a white or silver Chevy Malibu possibly being driven by a woman.

If you have any information about this robbery and murder, you are urged to called the Houston Crimestoppers at 713-222-TIPS.

To the thieves who killed Ray, we ask this question: What does it profit a man if he gains the whole world and loses his own soul?

Ray's loved ones are devastated over his sudden and tragic death. He was a loving husband and father. He loved his family and was loved in return. He did his best. He will be forever mourned.

Ray is survived by many loving friends and family members including his wife and young son.

Pray for justice for Ray.

Pray for the wife and son of Ray who witnessed an unspeakable act of evil.

God save us from the thieves. They are killing us, Father. Amen.

Pray that Ray is in Heaven. Pray that he is at peace and is with God. Amen.
