Jason Shane Jr. and Tana Shane - Good Samaritans murdered in Pryor, Montana

Jason Shane Jr., age 50 and his wife, Tana Shane, age 47, died on July 29, 2015, on a roadway near Pryor, Montana.

The couple lived on the Crow Indian Reservation which is about 30 miles from Billings, Montana.

It has been reported that Tana Shane was driving down the highway when she came across a young man stranded at his vehicle. He had ran out of gas.

Tana went home and told her husband, Shane and her daughter, Jorah, age 26, that a man needed help. The three drove back to the stalled car.

The occupant of the car was Jesus Deniz Mendoza, age 18, of Worland, Wyoming.
He pulled a gun on the Shane family and demanded money which they did not have. All they had was loose coins. He then shot and killed Jason Shane and then Tana Shane.

As the daughter, Jorah, tried to flee, she was shot in the back but survived and was able to run for help to a nearby church.

Jesus Deniz Mendoza fled the scene in the Shane family car. He was arrested 120 miles away in Meeteetse, Wyoming.

Jesus Mendoza admitted to authorities that he had shot the couple because he was "tired of waiting around" and "the daughter laughed at him".

Jesus Mendoza is innocent unless proven guilty. However, who raised this guy - wolves? Who kills helpful strangers on the road for money?

God help us.

The loved ones of Jason and Tana are devastated over their tragic and pointless

deaths. Jason trained racehorses. He loved to fish and hunt and he had fun at horseshoe tournaments. He was employed with the Pryor Head Start Program.

Tana was much loved by her family and friends. Family members describe Jason and Tana as having big hearts. They will be forever mourned. 

Jason and Tana are survived by many loving friends and family members including but not limited to their two sons and five daughters who will forever miss them.

Jason and Tana are Good Samaritans.

Pray for all who die while coming to the aid of others.

God save us from the psychopaths. They are killing us, Father. Amen.

Pray that Jason and Tana are in heaven. Pray that they are at peace and are with God. Amen.
