Alexander Giannini - U.S. Border Patrol - Arizona

Border Patrol Agent Alexander Giannini, age 25, died in the line of duty on May 28, 2014, at a hospital in Tucson.

Agent Giannini was a member of the U.S. Border Patrol. He had 5 years of service.

On May 28, 2014, around 7:30 a.m., Alexander and another agent were travelling on a highway near Benson, Arizona. Their vehicle was involved in a single vehicle rollover accident. Alexander was flown to a hospital in Tucson where he was pronounced deceased from his injuries.

The cause of the accident is under investigation.

Alex grew up in Roseville, California and graduated from Roseville High School in 2008. He joined the Roseville Police Department’s Explorer Scout troop along with his sister at the age of 14. He remained in the program until the age of 20, when he joined the U.S. Border Patrol.

The Border Patrol in Arizona is in mourning over the death of their brother. He will be forever remembered.

Alex's family are devastated over his tragic and sudden death. He will be forever mourned.

Alex is survived by many loving comrades, friends and family members including his parents, his sister and his fiancée.

Pray for all who die by misadventure. They are with us one moment and are gone before we can say goodbye.

Pray that Alex is in heaven. Pray that he is at peace and is with God. Amen.
