Vinny Bocchino
Lt. Vincent Bocchino, age 29, died on April 27, 2014, in Columbia, South Carolina.

Vinny died of a heart attack.

Vinny was a member of the University of South Carolina Division of Law Enforcement and Safety. He had 6 years of service.

The Division is in mourning over the death of their brother.

Vinny's family are devastated over his sudden and tragic death. He will be forever mourned.

Vinny attended Florida State University and was named Undergraduate Humanitarian of the Year for 2005-2006. This award is given to the student who demonstrates the greatest commitment to the service of others.

Vinny was heavily involved in Florida State University while he attended, arranging benefits and being a Peer Leader, which is a mentorship program for kids coming to
Michael, Archangel, Patron Saint of Law Enforcement,
pray for Vinny and for those who have lost him 
University from High School. Vinny was named the College of Communications’ Humanitarian of the Year. Vinny was recognized several times for his leadership skills, his academic skills and his service to his University community.

Friends describe Vinny as an outstanding young man and a great guy. He was always professional and had leadership qualities. He was a humanitarian in the truest sense of the word. He always tried to keep a smile on his face. Many of Vinny's friends stated that they are honored to have known him.

Vinny is survived by many loving comrades, friends and family members who will forever miss him.

Thank you for your service to others, Vinny.

Pray for all who die young and suddenly. They are with us one moment and gone the next.

Pray that Vinny is in heaven. Pray that he is at peace and is with God. Amen.
