David Johnson - Law Enforcement - Tennessee

Deputy Sheriff David Johnson, age 52, died in the line of duty on January 12, 2014, on a highway in Tennessee.

Officer Johnson was a member of the Montgomery County Sheriff's Office, Clarksville, Tennessee.

David was known as Bubba to his friends and relatives.

At about 11:20 p.m., his patrol car left the roadway and struck a tree, causing him to suffer fatal injuries. The accident is under investigation.

The Sheriff's office is in mourning over the tragic passing of their comrade.

David is described by friends and coworkers as a professional officer who was

thoughtful, considerate of others, and had a sense of humor.

He is also described as a man who was the nicest of guys and a man who always had a smile on his face.

David is survived by many loving comrades, friends and family members.
