Avadon Chaves |
Spc. Chaves was assigned to the 1st Battalion, 6th Infantry Regiment, 2nd Brigade Combat Team, Fort Bliss, Texas.
Tragically, Avadon passed away from a non-combat related incident which is under investigation.
Avadon was serving in support of Operation Inherent Resolve, which is the U.S. Military operation against ISIS in Iraq and Syria.
Avadon had graduated from John H. Pitman High School in Turlock, in 2015. He planned on making the military his long term career.
His family stated that Avadon was a loving young man and a devoted Christian. He had a sense of humor and was amusing. He was looking forward to having children one day.
Avadon's military comrades are in mourning over the death of their young brother. Avadon was just starting out in life. He will be forever remembered.

Avadon is survived by many loving comrades, friends and family members including his mother, Marcella; his father, Jon; his 4 sisters and his wife, Tesa.
Oceans of tears have been shed for Avadon.

Pray for all who die in a foreign land, far from their loved ones.
