Masa Vukotic - a teenager murdered in Melbourne, Australia

Masa Vukotic, age 17, died on March 17, 2015, at a park in Melbourne, Australia.

At about 7:00 p.m., she was stabbed to death by an unknown male as she was walking on the Koonung Creek Linear Park footbridge in Doncaster. 

Doncaster is a suburb of Melbourne.  Melbourne has a population of over 4 million. 

Masa frequently walked across this bridge as part of her exercise routine. She was walking with her headphones on and probably did not hear her attacker approaching. 

It is believed by the Police that the attacker did not know Masa.  

Paramedics found Masa suffering from cardiac arrest and attempted to revive her but tragically she died of her wounds at the scene. 

A suspicious man was filmed on Closed Circuit Cameras boarding a bus 20 minutes after the attack and Police want to question him.

Masa was a student at Canterbury Girls Secondary College. Her classmates are shocked and are in mourning over her tragic death. 

Neighbours describe Masa as a beautiful young girl.

Her boyfriend, Tim, stated that Masa was his dear love and that she would always be in his heart. 

Masa's loved ones are devastated over her sudden and tragic death. She will be forever mourned.

Masa is survived by many loving friends and family members.

Pray for all who die suddenly. They are with us one moment and are gone before we can say goodbye.

Pray for justice for Masa.
