Chris Reese - a store clerk murdered in Idaho

Chris Reese

Chris Reese, age 25, died on December 17, 2014, at a convenience store/gas station in Notus, Idaho.

Notus is a village in Canyon County, Idaho. The population was 531 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Boise City–Nampa Metropolitan Statistical Area.

Chris was working alone on the overnight shift at the store.  At about 3:00 a.m., two masked men entered the store armed with several weapons. They stole some items and started shooting. 

Chris was fatally shot in one of the aisles of the store.  The attackers then stole his car and a safe from the store. They later ditched the safe and the car and fled. The safe didn't appear to have been opened but that is not confirmed as of this date. 

Both suspects are described as between 5 feet 10 inches and 6 feet tall.  One was wearing a black hoodie and jeans; the other a camouflage jacket and light pants.

The store is offering a $5,000 reward for anyone who can provide any information that may lead to an arrest of those responsible. Information can be reported by calling 343-COPS or 343-2677.

Chris moved to Idaho four years ago from Tennessee.  He moved with his fiancée, Tiffany Martin, in order to be close to Tiffany's mother. They initially settled in Parma and then after a couple of years, they moved to the tiny town of Roswell. 

Friends are in shock that Chris was murdered. He is described as a hard worker and a good guy all around.

Chris' loved ones are devastated over his senseless and tragic death. They stated that they are a close family and that they loved him very much. He was a loving father to his 4 year old daughter. He will be forever mourned.

Chris is survived by many loving friends and family members including but not limited to his fiancée, Tiffany, and their 4 year old daughter. 

Pray for justice for Chris Reese. 

Pray for all who go to work and who die there.

God save us from the thieves. They are killing us, Father.
