Michael Georgiou |
Michael was a member of the York County Regional Police Department in York, Pennsylvania. He had 11 years of service.
He was off duty at the time and was visiting friends in his home state with his teenage daughter. At some point in the evening he went for a ride on an All Terrain Vehicle. When he didn't return, his friends went searching for him. He was found in a ditch, gravely injured. The ATV had rolled over, ejecting him. First responders worked to revive him but he died at the scene of the accident.
