Mukeshbhai "Mike" Patel - Store Clerk killed in Lexington, Kentucky

Mukeshbhai Patel

Mukeshbhai Patel, age 51, died on December 9, 2013, at a gas station in Lexington, Kentucky.

He was an employee of the gas station and was working on a Monday afternoon. Sometime before 3:00 p.m., a man entered the store to rob it and in the process shot and killed Mukeshbhai.

Mukeshbhai was known as Mike to his friends and customers.

Travis Bredhold, age 18, has been arrested in connection with this murder. When arrested Travis Bredhold had in his possession two marijuana cigarettes, various drug paraphernalia, almost $600. in cash and a loaded handgun. He has had several brushes with the law since he turned 18 in June including being arrested for breaking into a gas station in August of 2013.

This dude is just a teenager and already he is getting a rap sheet like Judas.

cash but also shows him being shot and the thief making his way behind the counter to get still more money from the cash register.

Mike came to America from India about 10 years ago in search of a better life for his wife and their two sons.

Mike is described as a very outgoing man, always willing to help everybody including his customers. He is also described as a family man who worked hard. He was a man of honor.

His family is devastated at his tragic death.

Mukeshbhai is survived by many loving friends and family members including his wife and two sons.

Pray for all who go to work and are killed there.

God save us from the thieves. They are killing us, Father. Amen.

Pray that Mukeshbhai is in heaven. Pray that he is at peace and is with God. Amen.
