Bruce was a member of the Quentin Volunteer Fire Company, in Quentin, Pennsylvania. He had one year of service.
Bruce was responding to a call for assistance at a motor vehicle accident. At about 6:30 p.m., he was driving his own vehicle to the station when he lost control of his car and crossed the center line of the highway. His car was struck broadside by an oncoming minivan.
Bruce passed away at the scene of the accident. Wet weather and road conditions are believed to be factors in this tragedy. It was raining heavily.

The Quentin Fire Department is in mourning over this tragedy.
Fire Department officials stated that Bruce had a love for the fire service. He had a sense of humor and was very well liked. He was just a good kid.
Others describe him as happy-go-lucky and friendly. He had learned sign language to better communicate with his wife, Katie, who is hearing impaired.
Bruce is survived by many loving friends and relatives including his parents, Bruce and Ella Sensenig; and his wife, Katie.
