He was riding his bicycle home from his job at a local restaurant when he was struck by a late model white Toyota Corolla. The driver struck Zachary and then sped away. Zack's body was found at 10:15 p.m., at the side of the road.
Anyone with information on this crime is urged to call the Wilmington Police Department at 343-3600.

Family members describe Zack as a wonderful son who was kind and caring. He was a sweet guy like his Dad.
Zack is survived by many loving friends and relatives including his mother, Beverly Tyler; and two siblings.
Pray for justice for Zachary.
God save us from the drivers who kill us and then sneak away like wolves in the night. Amen.
