William Wild IV

Lance Cpl. William T. Wild IV, age 21, of Anne Arundel, Maryland, died in the line of duty, on March 18, 2013, in Hawthorne, Nevada.

William was the victim of a mortar shell explosion at an army depot during a training exercise.

He graduated in 2010 from Severna Park High School near Annapolis, Maryland. While attending this school, he had been into wrestling and baseball. 

William joined the Marines in October of 2010. In December 2011, he had earned his new rank, and he also earned a number of recognitions, such as the Combat Action Ribbon and Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal.

He had been deployed to Afghanistan on two tours of duty and one tour to Kuwait.

Family members stated that William always wanted to go into the military.

William is survived by many loving friends and relatives including his parents and his wife, Taylor.

Pray for all who die by misadventure. They are with us one moment and gone the next. Amen.
