She was the coach of a women's Lacrosse team at Seton Hill University. Twenty-three players and coaches were aboard a bus when it crashed on the way to a game at Millersville University.
The reason for the crash is unknown at this time.
Kristina and her unborn child died as did the driver of their bus, Anthony Guaetta of Johnstown, Pennsylvania, age 61. Anthony died at the scene.
Kristina was transported to a local hospital and died there.
Kristina is described as warm, outgoing and a natural leader. She is also described as a sincere person.
Kristina is survived by many loving friends and relatives including her husband and her son.
