Christian Pike

Chief Petty Officer Christian Michael Pike, age 31, of Peoria, Arizona, died on March 13, 2013, in Landstuhl, Germany, as a result of combat-related injuries sustained on March 10 while conducting stability operations in Maiwand District, Afghanistan.

Christian was assigned to a West Coast-based Naval Special Warfare unit.

Christian enlisted in December of 2001. He was a cryptologic technician.

Family members stated that he was very proud to be a Navy Chief with the Special Ops group. He loved serving his country and the men he served with. He lived and died honourably.

He is described as happy and fun loving and a man who made others happy. He is also described as compassionate and positive.

Christian is survived by many loving friends and relatives including his mother and sister.

Pray for all who die in the line of duty.
