Michael Brady, age 34, of Teaneck, New Jersey, has been charged in the murders of Tammy and Natasia.
Tammy and Michael Brady had been dating for three years. He is not the father of Natasia.

It is alleged that Tammy and Michael Brady had a fight on January 28 and that he stabbed Tammy. It is also alleged that Natasia must have witnessed the stabbing and was then smothered by holding a plastic bag over her head.
Family members stated that Tammy worked with children as a school aid and that she loved her daughter dearly. Natasia attended elementary school in Englewood.
Tammy is also described as a doting mom and a sweet person. Friends said "She loved that girl. She lived for her."

Tammy and Natasia are survived by many loving friends and relatives including Tammy's father and Natasia's grandfather, James Pitts.
