Forrest was the night clerk at a Kelseyville convenience store and gasoline station.
On Friday, January 18, 2013, he was working at the store and was fatally shot by an armed robber at about 10:45 p.m. Forrest was shot in the chest and the hand by a man wearing a dark hoodie and dark clothing, with a bandana around his face. The suspect took a small amount of money and ran across a nearby field.
The suspect has not been apprehended as of this posting. If you have information about this crime, please contact the Sheriff's office at (707) 263-2690.
Forrest graduated from Kelseyville High School. He had worked at the store for about 6 years.

He had been living with and caring for his mother.
Friends describe him as a quiet guy who was friendly to the patrons of the convenience store. He is also described as kind, generous and fun. Friends said that Forrest had a heart of gold.
Forrest is survived by many loving friends and relatives including his mother.
