Scott Moore - Good Samaritan killed while helping others - Idaho

Scott Moore, age 56, of Priest River, Idaho, died on December 14, 2012, on Highway I-90 in Idaho.

Scott was helping a family whose vehicle slid off the road. He was pulling a 9 year old girl to safety from an oncoming car, when Scott was himself struck by the oncoming vehicle.

Robert Dyer, age 24, faces vehicular homicide charges in connection with Scott’s death.

Robert Dyer was involved in a hit-and-run collision along I-90 a few minutes before hitting Scott. He may have been drinking and driving on a suspended license.

Scott is survived by many loving friends and family members, including three grandchildren.

The little girl who Scott rescued has described him as her angel.
