Ricky was a member of the Natchitoches Parish Sheriff's Office. This was his first year of service to the Department.
He was travelling on a local highway during a heavy rain storm. His patrol car hydroplaned as he entered a curve on the roadway. The vehicle left the road, went down an embankment, and struck several trees. Despite wearing his seatbelt, Deputy Issac suffered fatal injuries.
Ricky was a native of Cypress, Texas. He graduated from Newton High School. Ricky graduated from Northwestern State University in December of 2011 where he was a highly valued football player.
Football officials at the University stated that Ricky was the kind of man you hope your son grows up to become.

Ricky is survived by many loving friends and relatives including his expectant wife, Akilah.
Thank you for serving, Ricky.
Pray for all who die in the line of duty.
Let us pray that Ricky Issac Jr. is in heaven. Let us pray that he is at peace and is with God. Amen.
