Marie-Hélène Gauvin, Tommy Losier, Brian Basque and Alexandre McGraw - drowned in New Brunswick

Four young people died in an accident on December 22, 2012, near Tracadie-Sheila, New Brunswick. 

Deceased are:

Marie-Hélène Gauvin, age 17, of Pointe Canot;
Tommy Losier, age 18, of Ste-Rose;
Brian Basque, age 19, of Ste-Rose; 
Alexandre McGraw, age 20, of Losier Settlement

The four were out celebrating the birthday of Brian Basque, when the car accident occurred after midnight. The car was being driven up a hill when it slid off the icy road and into the Tracadie River in the backwoods near Tracadie-Sheila on the Acadian Peninsula of New Brunswick. 

The bodies of the deceased were pulled from the water the next day. All four had drowned. 

The community is in shock over this tragedy. 

All four are survived by many loving friends and relatives, who will forever grieve their loss.
