Laurelie, Anais and Loic Desautels - murdered in Quebec

Laurelie, Anais and Loic- murdered by someone

Laurelie, age 5; Anais, age 2; and Loic, age 4, died on or about December 2, 2012, in Drummondville, Quebec, Canada.

Their surname was "Desautels". 

Sonia Blanchette, age 33, who is the mother of these 3 kids, has been charged with murder.

She will undergo an evaluation to determine if she's fit to face criminal charges. As of this posting, she is in the hospital receiving care for her mental and physical state.

The father, Patrick Desautels, is not considered a suspect in these murders at this time.

This couple were not together at the time of this tragedy.

Earlier this week, the children's father, Patrick Desautels, released a written statement, stating that he loved his two daughters and son deeply, and will miss them for the rest of his life.

Neighbours said the mother had lived alone with the three children in the second floor of a duplex for about two years. She lost custody of the children early in 2012 and had been awarded visiting rights once every two weeks, to be supervised by the children's maternal grandmother.

The children had been on a custodial visit with their mother at the time of their death.
