Fawzi Abu-Hamdan, age 53, died on December 28, 2012, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

An armed and masked man entered the store around 9:00 p.m. and tried to rob it. A struggle ensued and the suspect shot and killed Fawzi. The suspect fled in a dark colored SUV and has not been apprehended as of this posting.

Fawzi was born in Lebanon and spent much of his youth in Jordan before emigrating to the U.S.A.

Customers of Fawzi describe him as generous, compassionate and well-liked. He was popular in the district for giving kids free candy and chips, and accepting credit from customers when they couldn’t pay.

Father, place Fawzi on the
stairway to Heaven
Family members describe him as loving and a man who would do anything for his family.

The family are raising funds to fly his body back to Lebanon for burial there.

God save us from the Lost Ones who stalk the Earth stealing away life.  Amen.
