Rebekah Gay - murdered in Michigan

Rebekah Gay, age 24, died on October 31, 2012, in Broomfield Township, Michigan. She was beaten and strangled to death.
Rebekah

John D. White, age 55, has been charged with first-degree murder in her death. It is believed that he killed Rebekah, who lived in the same trailer park as part of a sexual fantasy.

He was engaged to Rebekah's mother and often babysat Rebekah's 3 year old son, while she worked.

John White
John White had a previous history of abuse of women. He was released from prison in 2007 after serving nearly 12 years for manslaughter in the death of a 26-year-old woman in Kalamazoo County.  White also was sentenced to probation for choking and stabbing a 17-year-old Battle Creek girl in 1981.

He was a pastor at a tiny 14-member congregation at Christ Community Fellowship Church, west of Mount Pleasant.  Church members were aware of his criminal past but stated that: "He was absolutely contrite; All kinds of people turn around and meet the Lord and they are a different person. He was doing a lot of good in the community. ... He was doing a lot of good and Satan did not want him doing good, and Satan got to him."

God save us from those Born Again Christians who are too dumb to realize that a man who has been involved in the death of one woman and the stabbing of another is disturbed. How many times does this happen until someone wakes up and realizes that this man is a danger?  And now it is the third woman and this woman is dead as well.

God help us. Save us from the Lost Ones who stalk the Earth stealing away life.
Light a candle for Rebekah.
Light her way to Heaven.

Rebekah graduated in 2007 from Bullock Creek High School.

Rebekah is described as cheerful, trusting and happy. She had a bright future ahead of her. She loved her son.

Rebekah is survived by many loving friends and relatives including her mother; her 3 year old son, Conway; and her boyfriend, Aaron.

Let us pray that Rebekah Gay is in heaven. Let us pray that she is at peace and is with God. Amen.
