Mike Leach - Hydro worker - electrocuted - Superstorm Sandy

Michael Leach, age 47, died on the job on October 31, 2012, in Sarnia, Ontario, Canada. 

Mike was an employee of Bluewater Power. He was a lineman. He had 4 years of service with this company but 21 years experience as a lineman. 

High winds from Superstorm Sandy blew out power lines in parts of Sarnia. Mike was one crewman working to restore power, when he was electrocuted by a power line. 

Mike spent most of his career in Nova Scotia. He moved to Sarnia with his family four years ago and took a job at Bluewater Power.

Bluewater Power stated that Mike was an excellent husband, father and grandfather. 

Mike is survived by many loving friends and family members including his wife Gwen; his children, Jessica and Miranda; and his grandchildren, Bridget and Charlotte.

Pray for all who die because of their jobs. Amen. 

Let us pray that Michael Leach is in heaven. Let us pray that he is at peace and is with God. Amen.
