A company (4th from the top) in a strip mall makes these contaminated drugs? |
Meningitis is an inflammation of the lining of the brain and spinal cord. The inflammation may be caused by infection with viruses, bacteria, or other microorganisms. Meningitis can be life-threatening because of the inflammation's proximity to the brain and spinal cord; therefore the condition is classified as a medical emergency. Meningitis can cause death; or you can end up in a wheelchair, paralyzed; or you can end up blind.
In a coma from meningitis. |
The list of nine states with reported cases is: Tennessee, Michigan, Virginia, Indiana, Florida, Maryland, Minnesota, North Carolina and Ohio.
Officials have tied the fungal meningitis outbreak to steroid shots for back pain. The steroid was made by a specialty pharmacy in Massachusetts, The New England Compounding Center, in Framingham. The company has recalled the steroid which was sent to clinics in 23 states. The U.S. government last week urged doctors not to use any of the company's products.
I am one of the bloggers who contribute to this website. I contracted meningitis when I was 26 years old. It was a viral meningitis and not fungal and not from an injection. I almost died from this disease. I slipped into a coma for 3 days. By the grace of God, I woke up - alive, not crippled and not blind. I thank God for that.
Raphael, Archangel of Healing, pray for us. |
However in this current case, 13,000 people were injected with a drug that seemingly already had the meningitis virus in it.
Why is a shitty little mom and pop pharmacy located in a backstreet strip mall making these drugs instead of a proper, regulated drug company? They don't do tests? The Government of Massachusetts doesn't test or regulate these companies?
Jesus, pray for us. Ask your father for mercy for us.
God save us from the greedy companies, who will kill you for 5 dollars of profit. They do it all the time, world-wide.
Save us, Father, from greed. Amen.
