Donna Johnson

Sgt. Donna R. Johnson, age 29, of Raeford, North Carolina, died on October 1, 2012, in Khost, Afghanistan, of injuries suffered when an insurgent detonated a suicide vest near her. 

She was assigned to the 514th Military Police Company, 60th Troop Command, Winterville, North Carolina.

Donna joined the North Carolina National Guard in August of 2006. She had previously deployed to Iraq from 2007 to 2008.

Her awards and decorations included the Combat Action Badge, Iraq Campaign Medal and Army Commendation Medal.

Donna is survived by many loving friends and relatives. 

Let us pray that Donna Johnson is in heaven. Let us pray that she is at peace and is with God. Amen.
