Camella Steedley

Sgt. Camella M. Steedley, age 31, of San Diego, California, died on October 3, 2012, while supporting combat operations in Helmand province, Afghanistan.

She was assigned to Combat Logistics Regiment 17, 1st Marine Logistics Group, I Marine Expeditionary Force, Camp Pendleton, California. The cause of her death is under investigation.

Camella was an air operations clerk. She was on her first combat deployment.

Camella is survived by many loving friends and relatives, including her parents; her husband, James Steedley (also a Marine); and their four children.
