Demetra Doyle Heard - Murdered in Louisiana

Demetra Doyle Heard, age 35, died on September 15, 2012, in Eunice, Louisiana.

She was murdered. There was a struggle before Demetra died. She was stabbed numerous times.

Her husband, Robert Heard, age 34, is under arrest for this crime. They had gotten married two months ago. 

Demetra is described as a caring mother and a hard worker. Her nickname was "Meme". Friends say that she always had a smile on her face. Family members describe her as a good woman all around.

On the surface it seemed that Demetra and Robert had a good marriage. But how can you have a good marriage with a murderer and a criminal from the get-go?  

Demetra made a fatal mistake in not searching out information about Robert Heard when she started dating him. And if she did know about his past, she fatally chose to ignore it. 

Robert Heard was convicted of murder in 1993 when he was only 15 years old. He shot and killed a fellow classmate at Reseda High School in Reseda, California. The victim was 17-year-old Michael Ensley. Robert Heard was committed to a juvenile corrections facility until 2002.

Then in 2003, he was convicted of attempted first-degree murder and sent to prison. He spent eight more years behind bars and was released on parole in July 2011.

And then he met Demetra, his third victim. 

Advice to women: Look up your prospective boyfriends, lovers and husbands-to-be on the Internet. It takes a few minutes to pour over the data that comes up.  This data could save your life or at least your happiness. 

If the search results say that your loved one "John Doe" is a murderer, con artist, sex offender, bigamist, stalker, or some other sort of freak...don't walk away.....Run away as fast as you can.

God save us from the Lost Ones who stalk the Earth stealing away life. They kill once and then they kill again. 

Demetra is survived by many loving friends and relatives including her 3 sons, ages 12 to 18. 

Pray that the killer of Demetra Doyle is brought to justice. 

Let us pray that Demetra is in heaven. Let us pray that she is at peace and is with God. Amen.
