Firefighter Thierry Godfrind, age 39, died in the line of duty on July 13, 2012, in Montreal, Quebec. 

Thierry was a member of the Montreal Fire Department. He had over 2 years of service.

A crew was dispatched to a home in Ville St. Laurent where a man had locked himself out of his home with a pot being heated on a stove. While fire operations were taking place, a fire apparatus truck backed over Thierry resulting in his death.

Thierry is survived by many loving friends and relatives, including his parents Pierre Godfrind and Carmen Auger; and his sister Nathalie.

Pray for all who die in the line of duty.
