Juan Navarro was assigned to the 1st Battalion, 23rd Infantry Regiment, 3rd Stryker Brigade Combat Team, 2nd Infantry Division, Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Washington.
Juan entered the Army in June of 2008. His basic training was at Fort Benning in Georgia before he was assigned to Joint Base Lewis-McChord. His training was that of infantryman and warrior leader.

He has received a number of commendation and achievement medals.
This was his first deployment to Afghanistan. He had previously served in Iraq in 2009.
Juan is survived by many loving friends and relatives.
Let us pray that Juan Navarro is in heaven. Let us pray that he is at peace and is with God. Amen.
