Chris was a member of the Millville Police Department. He had 8 years of service.
He was killed in a vehicle crash at approximately 2:15 am. His patrol car was struck on the driver's side door by a vehicle that was fleeing other officers. Patrolman Reeves suffered fatal injuries in the collision and his partner suffered serious injuries.

He was a 1991 graduate of Millville High School and joined the department in 2004. Before that, Chris had served in the U.S. Marine Corps. He had also served as a volunteer firefighter in Millville.
Comrades describe him as a great officer, firefighter, husband, father, and friend, who will be greatly missed by many.
Friends describe him as compassionate, humble, patriotic and passionate about his wife and child.
Chris is survived by many loving friends and relatives including his wife, Susan and his young son.
Pray for all who die in the line of duty.
Let us pray that Chris Reeves is in heaven. Let us pray that he is at peace and is with God. Amen.
