Tobias Alexander

2nd Lt. Tobias C. Alexander, age 30, of Lawton, Oklahoma, died on May 20, 2012, in Tarin Kowt, Afghanistan, of wounds suffered when enemy forces attacked his unit with an improvised explosive device.

He was assigned to the 168th Brigade Support Battalion, 214th Fires Brigade, Fort Sill, Oklahoma.
Toby graduated from Elgin High School and Cameron University. 

Friends describe him as one of the hardest working men on post, professional and dedicated to his country.  He is also described as knowledgeable and a "go to" guy when you wanted to know something.

This was his second tour to Afghanistan.  He had plans for a long term military career. 

Toby is survived by many loving friends and relatives including his wife and three children. 

Let us pray that Tobias Alexander is in heaven. Let us pray that he is at peace and is with God. Amen.
