Ryan was assigned to U.S. Naval Forces Central Command headquarters in Bahrain. He was an intelligence specialist.
Ryan graduated from Shasta High School in Redding, California, in 2004. He joined the Navy in 2004 and reported to the Naval Forces Central Command in August of 2011.
In March of 2012, Ryan was named as the U.S. Naval Forces Central Command Sailor of the Quarter for the first quarter of the 2012 fiscal year.
Ryan was recognized by the Navy for the exemplary performance of his duties, his enthusiastic leadership and his professionalism.
Angels of God, pray for Ryan |
Ryan was part of a group of sailors who met and spoke with American studies students from the University of Bahrain in an effort to increase cultural understanding. He also volunteered to tutor elementary schoolchildren at the Department of Defense Dependents School in Bahrain.
Ryan is survived by many loving friends and relatives including his parents, Tracie and James Wilson.
It is particularly tragic when young men and women die of illness when they are in their 20's. They barely had a chance to live. God give them justice and peace in the next world.
Let us pray that Ryan Wilson is in heaven. Let us pray that he is at peace and is with God. Amen.
