JaBraun Knox

Sgt. JaBraun Knox, age 23, of Auburn, Indiana, died on May 18, 2012, in Afghanistan, of injuries sustained from a mortar attack.

He was with the First Battalion 377 Field Artillery Regiment stationed at Fort Lewis, Washington.

This was his first deployment to Afghanistan. He had previously served in Iraq.

Angels of God,
pray for JaBraun and
for his son, who has lost his
father.
JaBraun was born in the Fort Wayne area in 1988. He went to DeKalb High School where he played football. After graduating in 2007, he joined the Army.

High school officials describe him as mature, kind, very friendly, hard working and serious, but with a fun side to his personality.

JaBraun is survived by many loving friends and relatives including his parents; his wife, Courtney and their 6 month old son, Braylon.

Let us pray that JaBraun Knox is in heaven. Let us pray that he is at peace and is with God. Amen.
