Kevin White Jr.

Former soldier Kevin L. White Jr., age 29, died in his sleep on April 1, 2012, in Kalispell, Montana.

Kevin was a paratrooper in Delta Company, 2nd Battalion, 325th Airborne Infantry Regiment, 82nd Airborne Division.

Kevin was born and raised in Virginia. 

In April of 2007, his convoy was ambushed in Iraq. He was on his second tour when a piece of a rocket warhead went through his shoulder and into his lung. He also suffered a brain injury.

Family members stated that he struggled daily to overcome the physical challenges from his injuries but that he was upbeat and positive. 

Angels of God, pray for Kevin

Military officials describe Kevin as an outstanding paratrooper and a team player with impressive leadership skills. They also stated that he was trustworthy, intelligent and positive.

Kevin is survived by many loving friends and relatives including his parents, Kevin L. White Sr. and Bobbie L. Turner; two sisters - Meghan and Shannon; and his wife Juliane and their son Liam. 

Kevin is also survived by his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Ann and O.T. Green, who were building a house for Kevin and his wife and son next door to their home near Lakeside, Montana. 

Let us pray to God the Father, Jesus, all of the saints and all of the angels that Kevin White Jr. is in heaven. Let us pray that he is at peace and is with God. Amen.
