British soldier Corporal Jack Stanley, age 26, died on April 8, 2012, at a hospital in Birmingham, England.

Jack was a member of the The Queen's Royal Hussars. He was from Bolton.

Gabriel, Archangel, pray for Jack
Military officials describe Jack as a lynchpin of his Company's tight-knit community and an exemplary soldier who will be sorely missed and never forgotten. He is also described as enthusiastic, humorous and professional. He played for the Regimental football team that won the British Army Cup in 2010 and the Cavalry Cup in 2011.

Family members describe Jack as kind, generous, and dedicated to his regiment.

Jack is survived by many loving friends and relatives including his mother, Brenda; father Tom; sister Rachel and his girlfriend Sarah.

Pray for all who are injured and who linger and then suffer death.

Let us pray to God the Father, Jesus, all of the saints and all of the angels that Jack Stanley is in heaven. Let us pray that he is at peace and is with God. Amen.
