The cause of his death has not been reported as yet, but is not related to combat.
Paris Pough, a hull technician, was assigned to the USS Carl Vinson (CVN 70), home-ported in San Diego, California.
He enlisted in 1993 and was assigned to the Vinson in August of 2010.
Military comrades describe Paris as a hard-working, trustworthy shipmate who was critical to the success of the Engineering Department. He is also described as a loving father and husband.
Paris is survived by many loving friends and relatives including his wife and 4 children, ages 12 to 1.
Let us pray to God the Father, Jesus, all of the saints and all of the angels that Paris Pough is in heaven. Let us pray that he is at peace and is with God. Amen
