He was assigned to the 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing at Camp Pendleton.
Two helicopters were flying in a remote area of the 1.2 million-acre Yuma Training Range Complex as part of a training exercise, when they collided, killing 7 men aboard.
Corey lived in San Marcos, California, near Camp Pendleton. Corey grew up in Fayetteville, Georgia. He graduated from Sandy Creek High School in 2004 and then attended Southern Polytechnic State University. He joined the Marines in 2009.

He was a Huey Helicopter crew chief.
Corey is survived by many loving friends and family members including his mother, Wanda Little; his brother, Nickolas Little; his wife, Nicole Little, who is pregnant.
Family members stated that he was unique, and was a loving son, brother and husband.
Let us pray to God the Father, Jesus, all of the saints and all of the angels that Corey Little is in heaven. Let us pray that he is at peace and is with God. Amen
