He was a member of the Marine Heavy Helicopter Squadron 363, Marine Aircraft Group 24, 1st Marine Aircraft Wing, III Marine Expeditionary Force, Kaneohe Bay, Hawaii.
He died in a helicopter crash. The cause of the crash is undetermined at this time.

Travis grew up in Iowa and met his wife while stationed at the Marine base in Quantico. He had approximately 21 years of military service.
Family members describe Travis as a gregarious and personable man, and a devoted husband and father.
Travis is survived by many loving friends and relatives including his father, John Riddick; his wife, Jennifer and their daughter, Victoria (age 11) and son Levi (age 19). Other children include Charles, Matt, Jamie and Zachary.
Let us pray to God the Father, Jesus, all of the saints and all of the angels that Travis Riddick is in heaven. Let us pray that he is at peace and is with God. Amen
