Neil Turner

Pfc. Neil I. Turner, age 21, of Tacoma, Washington, died on January 11, 2012, in Logar province, Afghanistan, of injuries sustained during an Army training exercise. 

He was assigned to the 1st Battalion, 41st Infantry Regiment, 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 1st Armored Division, Fort Bliss, Texas.

Neil graduated from Lincoln High School in 2008. Neil Turner enlisted a little more than a year ago and deployed early last Fall.

Neil loved music - especially hip-hop and mixed martial arts. 

Friends describe him as adventurous, reliable and popular. 

Angels of God, pray for Neil

Neil is survived by many loving friends and relatives including his parents, Leland and Charlotte; and three younger brothers - Maxwell, Jordan and Tucker.

Let us pray to God the Father, Jesus, all of the saints and all of the angels that Neil Turner is in heaven. Let us pray that he is at peace and is with God. Amen
